Hot Tub Vacation Rentals in Condado, San Juan
Rosemary • September 17, 2026
If you want a Condado vacation rental with a hot tub, this page walks through the four units in our portfolio that include hot tub access, how the hot tub is set up in the building, what to expect vs a private in-unit hot tub, and which unit fits your trip.
The short answer
Four of our eight Condado vacation rentals include hot tub access: Unit 720 (Bright Studio, $180–$280/night), Unit 517 (Stylish Studio with lagoon views, $240–$380/night), Unit 721 (Lagoon View Studio, $140–$220/night), and Unit 308 (Oceanview Penthouse, $400–$580/night). The hot tub is in the shared amenity area on the ground floor, adjacent to the pool. It's open daily from 8 AM to 10 PM, and every unit above has direct access as part of the booking.
There is no private in-unit hot tub in Condado at this price tier — those exist only in Vanderbilt-tier hotel suites at $1,100+/night. What you get with our units is the same reef-side lagoon location, a full apartment with kitchen, and access to a shared hot tub that guests describe as consistently clean and rarely crowded.

About the hot tub itself
The hot tub is in the ground-floor amenity area of the Paseo Caribe building, next to the pool. This is a shared amenity for building residents and guests of our units — not a private in-unit tub. Practical details guests ask about:
- Hours: 8 AM to 10 PM daily
- Temperature: kept between 100–104°F year-round
- Cleaning: professional maintenance three times per week
- Capacity: comfortably fits 6 adults; usually well below capacity even in high season
- Cost: included in your booking — no per-use fee
- Reservation needed: no
- Kids allowed: yes, with adult supervision
- Pool access: yes, the pool is right there, and both share the same amenity area
The area is well-lit, gated, and monitored by the building's 24/7 security. It sits along the lagoon-facing side of the property, so most nights you're soaking with a view of the Condado Lagoon and, on clear evenings, the San Juan skyline across the water.
Common questions guests ask
Is the hot tub open at night?
Yes, until 10 PM. Most nights guests use it around 8–9 PM, after dinner. It's rare to find it crowded even at that hour.
Is it a rooftop hot tub?
No. The hot tub is on the ground floor of the Paseo Caribe complex, in the shared amenity area next to the pool. Condado has no rooftop hot tub rentals in this price range — those exist only in the Vanderbilt-tier hotel suites.
Is the hot tub private or shared?
Shared with other building guests and residents. In practice, most weeknights you'll be alone or share it with one or two other groups. Weekends can be busier around sunset.
Can I book multiple units together with hot tub access?
Yes. Groups of eight or ten often book two adjacent studios or the penthouse plus a studio. Every unit above shares the same hot tub — nobody has to walk to a different building. Message us if you want us to check adjacent availability across two or three units for the same dates.
How does this compare to Airbnb hot tub rentals in Condado?
Most Condado Airbnb listings that advertise "hot tub" are the same shared amenity in our building or in a nearby residential building. What you get by booking direct with us: 15% lower total cost than the same unit on Airbnb, faster host response (Rosemary answers within an hour), and a real person on the phone in a US timezone.
Is there a hot tub in the penthouse itself?
The hot tub is in the shared ground-floor amenity area. The penthouse (Unit 308) does include a wraparound balcony with pool and city views, but the hot tub itself is downstairs.
Booking direct vs Airbnb — cost breakdown
The Airbnb-listed rate is 15% higher than our direct rate. For a 5-night stay in Unit 720 at base pricing:
- Airbnb: $230/night × 5 = $1,150 + $180 Airbnb guest fee = $1,330
- Direct: $230/night × 5 = $1,150 + $0 fee = $1,150
- You save: $180 on this booking
For the penthouse (Unit 308), a 5-night direct booking saves closer to $340–$500 depending on season. That difference alone often covers a full grocery run in Condado's Freshmart supermarket, which is a two-minute walk from the building.
Where the building sits
All four hot tub units are in the same building: the Paseo Caribe complex, on the peninsula between Condado Lagoon and the Atlantic. Six to eight minutes on foot to Condado Beach. Ten minutes to Ashford Avenue's restaurant strip. Two minutes to the Caribe Hilton grounds via the pedestrian bridge. Twelve minutes to Playita del Condado (the reef-protected swimming cove locals prefer).
You're inside a gated waterfront residential complex with a ground-floor promenade along the lagoon, cafés, a grocery store, and a pharmacy — enough that most guests don't rent a car for their first few days.
When to book each unit
High season (December through April): book 4–6 months ahead. Unit 517 usually goes first, then 720, then 308 (families for holiday weeks).
Shoulder season (May, September, October): 2–4 weeks ahead is fine for most units.
Low season (June through August): often available inside of a week. This is the best value for the hot tub experience — the weather is warm, so you use the pool more than the hot tub, but the hot tub is cooler at night when it's actually usable.
Ready to book?
Best value with hot tub: Unit 721 → at $140–$220/night.
Best-reviewed with hot tub: Unit 720 → at $180–$280/night, Guest Favorite badge on Airbnb.
For families/groups: Unit 308 → at $400–$580/night, sleeps 6.
Direct booking saves 15% vs Airbnb. If you're not sure which unit to pick, message Rosemary — she answers within an hour and knows the calendar and the building better than any online listing.
